We made a stop to pick up some clothes and to our delight, the woman owns a traveling petting zoo with pony rides... Meghan made friends with the goat...

We went to the playground....their favorite thing to do there is ride the merry go round...which was closed...

A Walk in the Park

The weather has been so nice lately! We headed to the park to run around a little.

Miss Meghan Sings

Meghan has just recently started singing...it started when I would hear her singing snippits of songs from her Strawberry Shortcake DVD. Now she wants me to sing along with her to "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"...which I think is SO CUTE...but what really cracks me up are her hand motions.

Is it Summer already?

Anyone who is going to try to tell me that Global Warming is a fantasy can kiss my butt!! ; )... It was 80 degrees yesterday!!! It went right from cold to hot...and it seems like the summer comes on quicker and hotter each year!! Not that we were complaining...we played outside!

Lake-bound, baby!!

Manny has been wanting a boat for a pretty long time....he had been pricing them out and finally found one on Ebay (of all places)...anyway, the price was right and off to Illinois we went to pick up OUR NEW BOAT!!!!

My dad and his wife watched the kids for two days and nights while Manny and I drove the 800 miles to Mackinaw Illinois and back. We left on Thursday afternoon and didn't return until 4 am Saturday morning! It was a nice little adventure for the two of us and the kids did great on their first sleepover away from home!!




Daddy was pleased that the girls took to the boat like they were born to it!!
