Swing into Spring!

We had some spring like weather so Daddy and I took advantage of it by treating the kids to a trip to the playground!

The girls love the swings!




Hailey didn't want to get out of the swing...even for a snack!

For those of you wondering why Michael is so big...we feed him burgers and fries.... ; )

all we need is one more person to recreate the Abbey Road album....

A New Camera For Mom

Manny bought me a new camera for Easter!! Probably got tired of me complaining about the old one..hee hee...anyway.. You can notice a difference in the pictures that I took on Easter..the ones from our house were with the old camera and the ones from my mom's are with the new one.

Anyway.... I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new camera! Thanks, honey!

Easter Sunday

Easter was a busy day for the C's......The Easter Bunny was VERY good to us!!



First, the the kids opened their Easter baskets....




Then, we were off to hunt eggs...

Meghan would shake them..if they didn't rattle she just threw them down. If they did, she would open them, stuff the candy into her mouth or put it in her basket and throw the little egg carcass on the ground... so many little dead eggie soldiers... it was pretty comical


Hailey just sort of stood and looked at the eggs and when she picked one up she would just carry it around with her instead of putting it in her basket




Meghan decided that a shovel was a much more efficient way of gathering eggs.... if you look closely you can see all the opened eggs laying all over the lawn.....

Daddy and Michael had fun watching....

Then we got dressed and went to Nonnie's for dinner..it was too cold for our Easter clothes...

Then another Egg Hunt at Nonnie's....there were roughly 1 and 1/2 bajillion eggs out there!!

There is Meghan with an egg in one hand and the candy that was inside it in the other...

Hailey didn't really feel that she needed a basket....

but decided that it was probably a good idea...

Then it was inside to go through the booty....


and MORE Easter baskets from Uncle Chris and Auntie Marisol.. That makes a total of 4 Baskets for each child

Meghan ate nothing but candy that day but she still slept great!

Easter Outfits

I bought pretty Easter dresses for the girls and since it was too cold outside (even with sweaters we couldn't wear them outside), we ended up taking pictures inside. I think we will probably have studio photos taken in these clothes!

Playgroup Easter Party

The girls had a great time hunting eggs at the playgroup Easter party...Meghan knew what to do from last year, although she dumped her eggs out onto the ground and a swarm of kids descended to pick up her catch. Luckily there were still plenty to find and we started over. Hailey mostly just stood and looked down on the eggs...she didn't quite get that you are supposed to put them in the basket...the couple she did manage to get into her basket got stolen by another kid who followed after her and snatched the eggs out of her basket... we managed to retrieve them though ; ) This was a walkers only kind of thing so Michael stayed home with Daddy...
